(On the day of the meeting)
My mind was still restless, tangled with thoughts of the girl I had seen at the party. Who was she? Would I even get a chance to talk to her?
I called Nikhil, hoping for some guidance.
"Bro... did you get her?" he asked, his tone eager.
"No..." I replied, my voice low.
"What?! What are you going to do now?!" he asked, clearly alarmed.
I exhaled, frustration and worry mixing together. "I don't know... but... I was thinking... what if she rejects me...?"
Nikhil chuckled softly. "That will be great... but before that, you need to meet her."
"Yes...!" I said, determination slowly building in my chest.
"So... now get ready and go," he instructed, his voice firm but encouraging.
"Okay... I'll call you later," I said, feeling a mix of nerves and anticipation.
I hung up and started preparing to leave the office. Today, I wore a beige turtleneck sweatshirt paired with light grey pants and a smart blazer. My mind still buzzed with worry about how the meeting would go. But... I have to do this. I have to know.
Taking a deep breath, I gathered all the courage I could muster and drove my car toward the coffee shop, my heart pounding with every turn.

(At home)
I reached home to get ready for the meeting with Shivansh, my mind buzzing with reluctance and nerves.
The moment I stepped in, Mummy's voice pierced through the air. "Are you crazy?! You wanted to reject such a good proposal?!"
I rolled my eyes slightly, trying to keep calm. "No, I'm not crazy... but you'll make me crazy with all these marriage proposals..."
Papa's face darkened with anger. "You... how dare you talk like that... to your mom..."
I felt nothingβtheir anger couldn't shake me today.
Mummy glanced at the clock and sighed. "Now get ready as soon as possible and leave... you'll get late."
I didn't want to go, not at all. But I had no choice.
Resigned, I began getting ready. Today I chose a light blue anarkali kurti paired with white palazzo pants. I kept my makeup simpleβa nude pink lipstick was all I wore. My hair was half open, and the oxidized jhumkas I wore added a subtle charm to the look.
Stepping out of my room, Mummy's eyes widened slightly. "It's already 4:30 P.M... you'll be late..."
I smiled faintly, calming her. "I've already booked a cab... don't worry..."
Even if I wasn't excited, I was determined not to let my anxiety show. Today, I would face this meeting... one way or another.

Writer's Note
Sorry for interrupting!! But I had to say this. I know many of you might not like Kavyashree's behavior right now... but I want you people also to think once from her perspective. She's a doctor and becoming a doctor takes years of hardworking and dedication, if someone suddenly comes and says leave your job... Will you be able to do it? I can't, I don't know about others, everyone has their own ways... so please don't judge anyone.

I got a notification and quickly checked it. It was a message from Kavyashree.
I typed back, a small smile tugging at my lips.
"Hi!! Ms. Sharma!! Good evening!! I'm wearing a beige sweatshirt..."
My heart skipped a littleβjust seeing her name on my screen made everything feel... different.

Kavyashree read his message and quickly scanned the cafΓ©. Her eyes landed on himβShivanshβsitting just two tables away. She could see his back clearly. So this is him... she thought, taking a deep breath to calm her racing heart. Focus, Kavyashree... don't let your frustration show.
She walked toward him gracefully, her steps measured. Softly, she said, "Hello, Mr. Singhania!!"
Shivansh heard her voice and turned around. The moment his eyes met hers, recognition lit up his face. She's the girl I've been searching for these past two days... and she's right here! His excitement threatened to bubble over, but he quickly regained his composure. "Hello, Ms. Sharma!! Please make yourself comfortable..."
He pulled out the chair for her with a polite smile. Kavyashree eased herself into the seat. "Thank you, Mr. Singhania!!"
Shivansh took his place opposite her, trying to hide the thrill of finally being so close to the girl who had captivated his mind.
The air between them was charged with unspoken curiosity and quiet anticipation.

And just like that, my dewdrops... two worlds collide, eyes meet, and hearts stir, though neither dares to speak the words aloud. π«
Tell me β can a single glance hold the weight of a thousand unspoken emotions? Could this quiet moment at a cafΓ© decide the course of two lives? π
